Post Holdings, Inc. is concerned about the privacy of visitors to our website, including our pages and applications on third party social-networking services such as Facebook or Twitter and our applications on mobile devices (which we collectively refer to as our "website"). We want you to be familiar with how we collect, use and disclose any personal information that individually identifies you (e.g., your name, address, phone number, email address, etc.). This privacy policy explains our online information practices and the choices you, as a visitor to this site, can make about the collection and use of your information.

What personal information do we collect?

We collect personally identifiable information from you (such as your name, address, phone number, email address, etc.) when you voluntarily provide it to us. We may use the information to communicate with you regarding our products, services, and promotions, to provide you with other information that you request, and/or to improve our product and service offerings. We do not require you to provide personally identifiable information to play our games.

If you contact one of our Consumer Affairs Representatives through our site, we may ask you for personal information such as your name, address, phone number, or email address so that we can respond to your questions or comments.

In addition, when you use our website, we may ask you to provide personal information if you:

  • register for a sweepstakes, contest, or other promotion;
  • register as a user of our site;
  • register to receive coupons or recipes through our site;
  • join a club through our site;
  • participate in a recipe review, survey, a consumer research panel, or similar type of activity;
  • ask to receive online information such as recipes or material from us;
  • participate in our tell-a-friend option; or
  • otherwise participate in features of our website that ask for personal information.

If you purchase or otherwise request a product, publication or promotional offering from us or take advantage of a rebate or similar offer, you may be required to provide your contact and/or payment information (such as a credit card number) in order for us to process your request.

Your participation in any of these activities is voluntary. We may use the information you provide to respond to your questions or comments, to administer our promotions and sites, to fulfill your request, subscription, or order, or to otherwise provide or improve our products and services. We will not send you any online newsletter or similar email communication unless you expressly consent to receive such a communication from us. We may, however, send you notices of changes to our privacy policy. And if you do choose to receive any such email communication from us, you will always have the opportunity to unsubscribe from receiving the email at any time.

How do we gather data by automatic means?

Sometimes we use cookie technology, web beacons, and similar devices on our site to enhance functionality and navigation for our visitors. Information tracked through these mechanisms includes but is not limited to (1) your IP address, (2) the type of web browser and operating system being used, (3) the pages of the site you visit, and (4) other websites you visited before visiting our site.

If you wish to disable cookies, refer to your browser help menu to learn how to disable cookies. Please note that if you disable cookies, you may be unable to access some customized features on our site. Cookies do not collect or contain your name or email address.

Internet tags, graphic tags and similar web beacon type functions allow us to count the number of users who have visited a particular web page or to access certain cookies. We may use web beacons on our websites to count users and to recognize users by accessing our cookies. Being able to access our cookies allows us to personalize our website and improve your experience at our website. We may also include web beacons in HTML-formatted email messages that we send to determine which email messages were opened. Like cookies, web beacons do not collect or contain your name or your email address.

How do we share personal information?

Except as described below, we do not sell, transfer or otherwise disclose to third parties the personally identifiable information we collect on this Web site.

At times we provide your personal information to joint promotion partners and third parties who provide services on our behalf. These entities may use the information solely in conjunction with the specific promotion services they provide for us (e.g., fulfillment of an order, responding to your question or comment, providing a sweepstakes, prize, deployment of a consumer survey, investigation of a complaint, etc.).

We reserve the right to transfer any information we have about you in the event that we sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets to a third party. We also reserve the right to share information within the family of companies owned by Post Holdings, Inc.

We reserve the right to disclose any personal information as needed if such information is requested by law enforcement agencies or if we are requested to do so by law, regulation, subpoena, court order or government entity. We also may disclose personal information to third parties if we have reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to conduct investigations of possible breaches of law, to cooperate in any legal investigation, or to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be violating the terms of use of our site. Further, we reserve the right to use your personal information to protect our rights, privacy, safety or property.

Personal information we may receive from third party social networking services

You may access or make use of our third party social networking services, such as Facebook or Twitter. In this event, we may receive personal information about you that you have made available on those services, including information about your contacts on those services. Your decision to use a social networking service is voluntary. However, you should make sure you are comfortable with the information your third party social networking services provider may make available to our website by reviewing the privacy policies of those service providers. Any personal information we receive through third party social networking services may be used as described in this privacy policy.

Links to Other Websites

Our site may contain links to the websites of our subsidiaries and affiliates, and to websites that are owned and operated by third parties. These other websites may have their own privacy policies and would not be governed by this privacy policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of websites owned and operated by any such third parties. Other websites may collect and treat information collected differently, so we encourage you to carefully read and review the privacy policy for each website you visit.

Tell-a-Friend

This site may, from time to time, include a tell-a-friend application that makes it easy for you to forward information or materials from our site to friends or family by email. In order to address your email message, the application will ask you to input the recipient's email address and/or similar information (including your email address). This information is only used by the application to address your message so that it can be properly sent.

Changing Your Information

You can change your preferences for follow-up contacts by Post. If you're registered with www.postfoods.com, www.pebblesplay.com, or any other website operated by Post Holdings, Inc. or its subsidiaries, you can change the information you've provided to us or cancel your registration by going to the "Your Profile" section of the respective site.

Children's Privacy

Some portions of our website may be directed to kids under 13. In these areas of our website, our conduct is governed by federal law and regulations that address children's online privacy, as well as by the guidelines of the Children's Advertising Review Unit (CARU), a part of the Council of Better Business Bureaus.

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from kids under 13 on our website, except as in compliance with the legal requirements and the CARU guidelines. We sometimes offer promotions on our website, such as contests, sweepstakes and games. We may permit a child to enter promotions directed to children by submitting a first name and email address only, along with the name and e-mail address of the child's parent. We then notify the parent about the child's entry and offer the parent an opportunity to withdraw the entry and remove the submitted information from our database. If the parent permits the child's participation in the promotion and the child wins, we contact the parent (not the child) for further information needed for any prize delivery. Unless the parent has explicitly consented, we do not (i) use the child's personal information for any purpose other than to complete the promotion or (ii) share the information with third parties except as described above in this Privacy Policy. We do not retain the child's or the parent's personally-identifiable information in our database unless the parent has given us permission to do so.

We permit children under the age of 13 to contact us through the website "Contact Us" link with questions or comments. We request only the child's first name and e-mail address and use that information solely to respond directly to the child on a one-time basis. We do not use the information to re-contact the child and we delete the child's personal information from our database after responding to the child's inquiry.

Upon proper identification, a parent may review any personal information we have collected from his or her child if we still have the information in our database. The parent also may request that the child's information be deleted from our database and may refuse to permit further collection or use of the child's information. If you are a parent and wish to exercise these rights, please contact us as described below.

All matters relating to this site are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey in the United States of America. If you are located outside of the United States of America and you contact us, please be advised that any information you provide to us will be transferred to the United States of America and that by submitting information, you explicitly authorize its transfer.
